Team Information

The 12U Coppell Cowboys - Black are a new team out of Coppell, Texas. They are coached by Ernie Longoria. The Cowboys are currently playing at the AA level in NTI and in local tournaments in 2010. The Cowboys will be travelling to Cooperstown, New York this summer to play baseball in the legendary home of baseball.

Cowboys Win Triple Crown North Texas State Championship

The Cowboys finished the 2010 season by winning the Triple Crown North Texas State Championship (12U AA) at McInnish Park in Carrollton. The Cowboys took the lead in the 5th inning and held on to win 4-3 against the Keller Aces. The Cowboys were 5-0 in the 15 team tournament. The Cowboys ended the North Texas season 37-13-3. They will finish the year with a tournament at Cooperstown, NY to finish out their 12U year.

Cowboys win Silver Division of North Texas Select 12U Challenge

The 12U Coppell Cowboys Black team wins the Silver Division Championship in the USSSA North Texas Select Challenge this weekend in Celina (April 9-11). The Cowboys battled the Dallas Tigers(AAA), down 6-9 in the bottom of the fourth with time running out to come back and win it 12-9 to reach the Championship game. The cowboys got down early in the Championship game to win it 5-4 in the bottom of the 6^th with a walk off steal at home against the Riders Black(AAA).

Cowboys win USSSA Metroplex Opener

The Cowboys got of to a quick start in the 2010 season by winning the USSSA Metroplex Opener (12U AA) at Bakersfield Park in Flower Mound. The Cowboys got down early but battled back in the bottom of the 6th with 2 runs to win 5-4 against the Sherman Longhorns (AAA). The Cowboys were 5-0 in the 13 team tournament.
